Bay State Animal Cooperative would like to thank supporters from Norwood and surrounding communities for their show of support at last Sunday’s fundraiser. The annual car/dog wash featured wonderful weather, adorable pups and touching acts of kindness and generosity. Over $700 was raised to help defray medical expenses provided to cats in our foster care network prior to adoption.
We couldn’t do this without our dedicated group of volunteers. Special thanks goes out to students from Walpole High School and Norfolk Aggie, student volunteers from the Norwood Farmers Market group and Roz from Dirty Dawg Wash. We also had several new faces in addition to our core returning group.
BSAC is a 501(c)3 charitable/non-profit organization funded entirely by donations and operated completely by volunteers. We practice a no-kill philosophy while providing humane resources and services aimed at reducing animal overpopulation and unnecessary suffering for companion, stray, relinquished and feral animals.
