Apricot, a dilute calico kitty, is one of many cats left behind by their owners leave when they move and choose not to or can’t take their pets with them. This is illegal. However, no one ever seems to act on this in our society even though it is a disgrace, it happens all the time. A nice neighbor fed her while she was in the abandoned apartment until she had to remove her. She reached out to Bay State Animal Cooperative. We took in this very scared, thin and weary, young female kitty and have opted to keep her in foster care for a little while as she adjusts to her new life and fattens up. Serious inquiries are welcome to apply to adopt her and a meet and greet can be set up!
